Sri Lanka’s National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID) has been designated a WHO Collaborating Centre for Training and Research on Dengue Case Management. The recognition reflects NIID’s contributions to research, clinical practice and healthcare capacity building. As a WHO Collaborating Centre, NIID will support training and collaboration to improve dengue prevention and case management.
