Sri Lanka’s Ishadi Amanda (pictured on the right) was adjudged first runner-up at the 40th Mrs. World pageant in Las Vegas on 30 January. The coveted title was won by South Africa’s Tshego Gaelae with Thailand’s Ploy Panperm following Amanda as the second runner-up.
Ishadi, who says she is obsessed with fashion and makeup, shared her thoughts on her Facebook page a day ahead of the pageant: “Today, I’m in Las Vegas for the @mrsworldpageant competition and my husband just arrived to support me. Meanwhile, our little boy is back home but surrounded by so much love from family and friends.”
