Yana Jayasinghe
MRS SRI LANKA GLOBE
When a lady with Sri Lankan roots is among the top 20 of 80 contestants on foreign soil, she deserves all the credit that comes her way. Yana Jayasinghe represented Sri Lanka at the Mrs Globe International Pageant held in California in July and was placed sixth in the People’s Choice awards.
She also won the Artist of the Year award by displaying her multitalented persona, in addition to being among the top three in the Contestant of the Year, Mrs of the Year and Country Pride awards.
Ahead of the international pageant, Yana won the Mrs South Asia Australia 2023 title.
A past student of Visakha Vidyalaya in Colombo, Yana now resides in Melbourne and is married to marine engineer Rakitha Jayasinghe. She is a proud mother of two.
Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Textile Technology.
